View the TED talk below about modern slavery. After you have watched, click on the drop down Book of Negroes menu above, and go to my blog page. Once there, post a 200-250 word response that connects the message of Lisa Kristine's TED talk with a topic or issue explored in Laurence Hill's novel. Specifically, use a direct quotation from either the novel or the transcript of the Talk as your starting off point for discussion.
